Capturing Abby and Kyle’s Beautiful Bohemian Cedar Lodge Ohio Wedding Day

When a fellow photographer is hired by us, it is considered a huge honor. We were flown out to capture the beautiful details of this Cedar Lodge Ohio Wedding for Abby and Kyle. Having previously driven down to Florida for their engagement photos, a connection was already established, which made the trip even more special.

Ohio was a first for us, and it is loved by us that this career leads to places that would never have been visited otherwise. The landscape was a complete shift from the typical Florida vibes we are accustomed to; the vast cornfields were enjoyed immensely. The wedding was held at Cedar Lodge, which provided the perfect setting. A vintage Airstream was utilized for the getting ready portion of the day, which added a perfect retro touch to the bohemian theme that was chosen.

Our signature true to color editing style was applied to the images. Because the couple selected a soft, powder blue and white color palette, the edits were tailored to reflect the surroundings and that specific bohemian aesthetic. The colors were kept authentic to ensure the final gallery felt cohesive and real.

Documenting a wedding for a fellow photographer is always viewed as both nerve wracking and fun. It is often wondered if the photos will be judged, but it is also appreciated that the importance of good photography is understood by them. Because enough time was prioritized in their wedding timeline, we were allowed the freedom to document the day creatively. It was a wonderful experience exploring a new city while capturing such a beautiful event.
