Sam + Matt’s Real Wedding at The Sterling Event Venue
The day started out with the detail shots at the Sterling Event Venue, and I love how everything tied together. Sam and Matt went with a super colorful, illustrated floral pattern for their invitation suite, which matched the bright, fun vibe of the whole wedding perfectly.

Sam looked absolutely stunning in her gown. We grabbed a quick portrait of her hanging out under the wooden arch before the ceremony started, just taking a second to relax and take it all in before guests arrived.

If you haven’t been to The Sterling Event Venue in Clermont, their ceremony setup is seriously awesome. It features a huge open-air timber pavilion with beautiful heavy wood beams, and it’s surrounded by giant oak trees and clean turf so it feels tucked away in nature.

They lined the aisle with these massive, bright floral arrangements full of orange roses, pink ranunculus, and blue delphinium. The florals brought so much energy to the space, and they carried those exact same pops of color right into the reception room for the table centerpieces and custom-designed table numbers.

This is always one of my favorite moments of the whole day. Sam walked down the aisle with her dad, totally beaming and locked eyes with Matt the entire way down to the altar.

They’re official! Right after being pronounced husband and wife, Matt pulled off a perfect dip for their second kiss at the end of the aisle while all their friends and family cheered them on.

We knocked out the bridal party portraits right after the ceremony while everyone was still riding that high. The bridesmaids wore classic black off-the-shoulder dresses, which was a genius choice because it really made those bright, colorful bouquets pop in the photos.

Once we finished up with the bridal party, we let them head off to cocktail hour so we could spend some quality time getting photos of just Sam and Matt. Honestly, the grounds around the venue are so pretty that we didn’t have to walk far at all to find the perfect spots. The light was softening up beautifully, which gave us the perfect opportunity to capture some classic, romantic portraits of them as newlyweds.

We wrapped up their portraits right before the reception kicked off. These last few shots against the building are definitely favorites of mine. After that, it was time to head inside, get the reception started, and celebrate the rest of the night.
